Similar to clear quartz, calcite consists of all colors of the rainbow, meaning it can be used on all chakras. More importantly, it's a great crystal for focus. Honey Calcite is especially useful for honing in a particular thought or challenge. Are you in the middle of a project you just can't seem to push through? Honey calcite is one of the most powerful crystals to use when undertaking complex tasks that require not only focus, but persistence. It enhances mental clarity, concentration, and focus. It is also an effective crystal for protection, in that it helps to identify and shield against psychic attack and other negative energies. Need to get your creative juices flowing? Fluorite has been known to encourage creative thinking. Best of all, it comes in a wide variety of colors. This means there is a fluorite for each chakra. My favorite? rainbow fluorite! However, for more extreme cases, green fluorite attacks disorganization with a vengeance and is great for those that are "scatter brained". It is the drill sergeant of routine and promotes more intense focus and concentration over sustained periods of time.

How to Use Your Crystals
You may be wondering, this is all fine, but how do I use the crystals above to improve my focus? I suggest placing the crystals in a location where you tend to do work that requires you to focus. For me, it's at my desk. I have a rainbow fluorite tower near my desk and raw amethyst in my desk drawer. I also keep amethyst on the nightstand by my bed to help ease my overactive mind when going to bed.
